The client
Climate Risk Horizons:
is an influential Indian think tank that examines systemic climate risks to inform sustainable investment policies, analysing the long-term impact of the climate crisis on investment value.
The challenge
The climate crisis poses threats to both financial and environmental systems. These threats arise directly from climate change itself, and indirectly from changes in the socio-political economy that are propelled by the climate crisis.
As a key voice helping India’s largest financial institutions integrate climate risk into their strategies, Climate Risk Horizons provides authoritative and timely financial analysis.
However, their existing outdated website with its inflexible CMS and unmodern design failed to reflect their credibility and influence, hampering the rapid dissemination of their critical research.
The solution
89up designed and developed a modern, authoritative digital platform for Climate Risk Horizons. The new visual identity and fully responsive website instantly positioned the organisation as a trusted, leading voice in climate finance.
A custom-built, user-friendly CMS structure now enables the CRH team to easily publish diverse content, from detailed data tables to extensive downloadable reports, all without needing developer support. This functionality has dramatically sped up publication timelines.
The platform is now a strategic communications asset, providing Climate Risk Horizons with the digital agility and credibility essential to effectively influence financial systems within the world’s fifth-largest economy.
“ It was a pleasure working with 89up on our website redevelopment. The team was very responsive to our needs and stuck to project timelines diligently. We're very satisfied with the output! ”
