Coverage highlights

The brief

89up has acted as the global communications partner for the fourth and fifth editions of the Prize, issuing a call for nominations and announcing the winners.

The Foundation was particularly keen to drive the volume and diversity of the individuals and organisations nominated for the Prize.

The solution

Let's talk ->

Through social mapping and listening, we identified potential recipients for the Prize and those who could nominate them.

The Foundation received 143 nominations from 55 countries around the world for the fourth edition of the Prize, rising to 181 nominations for the fifth edition.

Our studio team created video content to be used at the awards ceremony in Lisbon, and we produced social cards showcasing the winners to be used on the Foundation’s channels. For the fifth edition of the Prize, we also created video content that celebrated its legacy and impact.

Our PR team worked with our international partners to secure coverage in each of the countries where the winners are based.
