A new start for Best Beginnings

A brand refresh for the UK’s most dynamic parent and child charity.

The Project

Best Beginnings empowers parents to give every child the best start in life through innovative use of online tools and learning resources. The charity asked 89up to evolve its brand and bring its image up to speed with its ambitions.

Our Studio team created a new Best Beginnings logo and visual identity that bridges the gap between the two core audiences of the charity; healthcare professionals and policy makers, and parents.

We created a versatile, colourful and recognisable icon that reflects the core values of Best Beginnings. To accompany the icon we developed a simple, professional and confident custom logo-font.

And working with the Best Beginnings team, we developed a new strapline for the agency to complement their new visual identity and tell the story of the organisation.

The final deliverables included a detailed brand bible, providing guidelines on digital and print use of the brand across all channels. We supplied the new logo in a wide range of formats for use on social media, web, PowerPoint templates and other document formats for the team’s ongoing use.

Our new visual identity for Best Beginnings gives the organisation a new look that tells everyone from ministers to mums and dads exactly what Best Beginnings is about.
