Head of People and Operations

We are looking for a Head of People and Operations to help nurture and grow our award-winning team! 

We’re looking for someone who can drive recruitment as our team expands, will oversee our training and development programmes, can help mentor and guide staff across the organisation and work with our Senior Management Team to ensure that operations across the business (in particular office management, contracting and the functioning of our financial processes) are all kept in line. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and report to our In-house Counsel and the CEO. 

We’re looking for someone who can be responsible for: 

Talent Acquisition

  • Recruiting across the company - working alone and with recruiters from your talent acquisition budget 
  • Define our employer branding so we continue to attract best in class talent
  • Ensuring the recruitment process maximises the diversity of talent we see in our recruitment process
 

People (HR)

  • Employee relations from disciplinaries and grievances, to redundancies and terminations with support from our In-house Counsel
  • Overseeing employees have access to our benefits and have the knowledge to access our benefits programme
  • Liaising with our benefits providers and sourcing and developing new employee benefits 
  • Pay scale oversight: ensuring our pay scales remain highly competitive and salary increases are fair and reward talent
 

Operations

  • On operations, we’re looking for a blend of the strategic and the practical: we need someone who can both think big and fix things in a scale-up agency
  • Ordering supplies, ensuring that any faulty IT equipment is replaced by the IT lead 
  • Ensuring supplier invoices are inputted accurately
  • Responsible for the asset register
