90up is a creative agency that connects brands with culture and cause. We deliver social, content and experiential campaigns that position our clients as champions of a cause or patron of great cultural moments.

As sister agencies, our collective mission is to deliver culture and cause-connected social and content campaigns rooted in collaborations with key influencers. We root our campaigns in data derived from our suite of industry-leading social media analytics tools. From the insights gained we create social, content, press and experiential campaigns that truly connect with their target audiences. 89up and 90up operate in parallel and service separate clients, but the team regularly work on projects for both businesses.

Our base is at Tileyard Studios in King’s Cross. We have a hands-on approach to producing our work and have built both production facilities and maintain an on-site network of partner companies at our offices that enable us to produce video, animation, motion graphics, graphic design and copy.

Description of the Role

We are looking for a social media executive to join the team and work across both 89up and 90up clients. This role is directly supporting our creative director Jonathan to deliver both commercial brand and NGO/charity campaigns.  

You will need a passion for how brand marketing can utilize culture and cause effectively. Interest and experience of the arts or charity sectors is essential for this role. You will be client-facing so some experience in dealing with brand, charity and agency clients is required. You will be asked to contribute creatively so you will be someone that enjoys having ideas and has the confidence to express and develop them with the team.  

You will be principally responsible for creating and managing social media campaigns so experience in creative development, graphic design, video and copywriting are all highly desirable. You will be required to setup and manage client budgets for paid social campaigns and ensure they continually achieve targets. You will have a deep understanding of the differences between different social channels from both a paid and organic perspective.

You will also be required to occasionally work on content and events production, so the ability to manage a variety of tasks and stakeholders simultaneously is essential. This work is off-site and usually outside of standard business hours.

Interest and any experience in these areas would be beneficial. As a small business, we are looking for someone that can work well collaboratively, be able to take direction and complete tasks to a high standard with minimal supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing both organic and paid social media campaigns on behalf of our clients.
  • Producing written and visual content for social media
  • Contributing to idea generation for pitches and campaigns
  • Attend client briefing meetings with creative director and senior social producer
  • Liaise with suppliers to contribute to project plans and budgets
  • Assist with client event production off-site and out of normal business hours
  • Assist in regular contact with brand, NGO and agency contacts
  • Research potential new clients for new business and pitch work
  • Contribute to company social media and marketing

Your Experience

Required:

  • Proven experience in running social media channels on behalf of brands or charities, adopting the correct tone of voice, acting in the interests of the client and protecting their reputation at every turn.
  • Very high standard of written and spoken English and ability to develop and adopt tone of voice guidelines

Preferred:

  • Experience preparing and presenting proposals
  • Experience in the basics of project management
  • Experience in conceiving and producing video content for social media
  • Experience in a high-growth early-stage business. 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies
